Space Solutions is a family-owned Arizona company that designs, builds, and installs custom storage for homes across the City of Chandler. Not a franchise. Noah and Jennifer Peery built the company on a straightforward idea: Arizona homeowners deserve storage made for Arizona homes, not flat-pack furniture trucked in from two time zones away. Chandler suits that idea. Dr. Alexander John Chandler, the first veterinary surgeon in the Arizona Territory, founded the city on May 17, 1912 on roughly 18,000 acres of ranch land. Then came an ostrich boom, of all things, with top-grade feathers bringing as much as $250 a pound, and the Hotel San Marcos in 1913. A city that builds things meant to outlast the season. Custom Closets Designed for Chandler Homes

Chandler is older than most people give it credit for. Most of the housing stock went up between 1970 and 1999, with another wave after 2000 and a downtown core running back to 1912. In newer suburbs the storage story is that a builder value-engineered the closet. Walk-in or reach-in, the design problem is the same: use every inch the room gives you. Chandler’s post-2000 homes usually have the walk-in footprint already and filled it with wire shelving, which sags under a winter coat. Those are straightforward rebuilds: zoned storage, double-hang sections, drawer towers, shelving sized to what goes there. In the 1970s and 1980s stock, the primary is often a large reach-in that can be pushed further than the owner expects.

Reach-in closets are the workhorses nobody thinks about. Secondary bedrooms, kids’ rooms, Sun Lakes single-level homes, nearly every historic house downtown. The builder version is always the same: one rod, one shelf, bifold doors, 24 inches of depth the wardrobe never quite uses. We rework them with double-hang, adjustable shelving, shoe cubbies, and a drawer bank to replace the floor pile.

Garage Cabinets & Garage Storage Systems

Chandler garages are a storage opportunity hiding in plain sight, and the era of the house barely matters. The 1980s ranch, the post-2000 two-story, the Sun Lakes single-level: all three hand you bare drywall and bare concrete, and within a year the space fills with bins and whatever has no home inside. A custom garage system turns that into closed cabinets, a workbench, overhead racks, and wall storage that keeps the floor clear enough to park in.

Heat is the part out-of-state companies get wrong. An uninsulated garage in the East Valley runs ten to eighteen degrees hotter than outside, which on a 110-degree Chandler afternoon puts the interior well over 120 degrees. Floor space is precious when the garage also holds two cars. Slatwall panels turn a bare wall into adjustable storage for tools, bikes, and ladders, all off the ground. Garage Floor Coatings for Arizona Heat

A coated garage floor finishes the room. It seals out oil, brake dust, and monsoon grime, wipes clean in seconds, and makes the garage feel like part of the house instead of a slab with a door. Most Chandler homes came with bare gray concrete regardless of build year.

Product choice matters more here than almost anywhere, because of heat and UV. Cheap epoxy yellows, peels, and lifts under hot-tire pickup when a car pulls in off a 110-degree road and parks while the tires are still scorching. Cure spec matters too, not just color. Epoxy vs. Polyaspartic Coatings

Epoxy is the budget option most big-box kits sell, and in a climate-controlled garage it is fine. In a Chandler garage that swings well over 120 degrees and takes hot-tire pickup all summer, it tends to yellow and peel. Polyaspartic costs more up front and earns it back with faster cure and better UV stability.

Workbench & Tool Storage

A garage built for actual work needs a real bench and a place for every tool. We design heat-stable workbenches with solid tops, drawer banks, and pegboard or slatwall above.
