Is Space Solutions a franchise and how long has it been in business?
Space Solutions is a locally owned business operating since 2001 by the Peery family. Originally, Space Solutions concentrated solely on Garage Cabinet and Storage Systems. In the subsequent years, Space Solutions has added the ability to design and build Custom Closets, Custom Home Offices, Pantries and Laundry Rooms, Kitchens and Baths, Wall Beds, as well as Garage Floor Coatings. The little garage cabinet business has grown and has its products in over 25,000 homes in the greater Phoenix area.
What Type of material does Space Solutions use?
Space Solutions builds with various materials. Standard garage cabinetry is typically constructed using cold-rolled single sided melamine. Double sided, furniture-grade thermo-fused melamine is available as an upgrade. Thermo-foil detailed door and drawer fronts are available along with solid wood options to accent any project. Various options such as fluted trim, crown moulding, rosettes, dove-tailed drawers, formica and laminate tops, and even granite are available as well.
What does Thermo-fused melamine mean?
“Thermo” (Heat), “Fused” (applied). These wood-grained papers are applied with glue activated by heat under pressure. Both sides need to have the application to keep the forces equal, which in turn, prevents warping. The thermo process gives the paper a much harder finish, which resists scratches, and helps the product repel water and moisture.
What is the big deal about concealed hinges?
Concealed hinges not only look nicer, but allow for trimless construction (without face frames). These face frames can use up to 3″ on each side of a cabinet blocking valuable storage space. Face frames are usually the starting point for wear and tear in garage cabinetry. This damage occurs over time when items being removed from the cabinet strike, and loosen the face frames. Outer hinges are attached to these face frames and cause doors to sag and close improperly. A European-style trimless cabinet design ensures the greatest utility and a long life for your cabinets.
Do you use “subcontractors” for your installation?
All of our cabinet and factory employees are trained to our exacting standards and work directly for Space Solutions. This ensures your job is done right from start to finish.
How long does it take to install?
Although most installs will take a day to complete, we will take as much time as necessary to ensure you are completely satisfied.
Are you cheaper than the rest?

There are always competitors that come and go offering inferior craftsmanship for a cheaper price. No one is perfect and should it become necessary to make repairs on your cabinets you can be assured Space Solutions will be there to stand behind our products. We maintain a very high referral rate because we go out of our way to ensure you are completely satisfied with your experience.
